I had thought that there was a thread titled "show us your tool kit" or something like that. But I wasn't able to find it.
Anyway, here's my notion of a handy tool kit. I simply wrap my tools in 4 or 5 rags and rubber band it all together. Even if you just toss your tool kit into a basket or a backpack they won't rattle. And the best part is that after you've done the repair you have something to wipe the grease off your hands. With a small supply of "Wet Ones" you can have perfectly clean hands. And when the rags get too dirty, then swap for newer ones and launder the dirty ones. Works great for me.
