I am going start building a new MB and am going to get a GRUBEE SkyHawk GT5B 69cc Angle Fire Slant Head Bike Motor Kit, These motors are new and built after 2020.

I had a GT5a that blew the piston rings and I'm going to fix it with a new head and piston and save it as a spare, the 5a's were built according to the stamp on the motor in 2017.

The 5a and 5b are a bit different from each other they have different jug size a=66cc and b=69cc and the 5b claims to have 3.15 HP (ya I know grain of salt time)

Jug size is the same both 47mm the stroke on a 5a is 38mm and the 5b now is 40mm which adds 3 cc to the working volume.
I'm glad you posted this as the Canadian dist told me last year they were done and not able to import engine kits anymore now it looks like something changed as they are listing this engine on their site atm and I want a few!

Good to know thank you.

Ya I did not post where I am getting it because it looks like they got them in stock and I am ordering it tomorrow and I don't want any problems due to a mass buying spree by the forum members LOL I'm soo possessive.

So if anyone want to know where I order from I will tell you all tomorrow, NO SPOILERS please we are talking about my whole summer staycation which hopefully lasts about 6 month's and over 3000 Km this year.

If the gt5b is as good as the gt2b 48cc has been you will have a good performer, mine has been excellent.
Ya fingers crossed, I have had two Grubee gt5a's the first one went close to 10,000 Km in two years.
Second one went about 3000~4000 last year and then the piston ring blew.

Contrary to popular belief these motors do not like going full throttle for a hour or two, No lie about the time I was in a rush for some reason that day I still managed to putt putt home which was a relief I might still be out there walking home if not.

Good to know thank you.

SPOILER ALERT ... motorized bicycle Canada for The B engine and Grubee for A engine...

Nope I got mine from a reputable dealer in Sweden -- they give out a pair of wooded shoes with each purchase LOL

EDIT:
