Has anyone converted a 4 stroke to run on LPG.

Has any one tried to convert a 4 stroke to run on LPG.
I was thinking it would be Cool to use the 1lb screw in propane bottles like I use for my camping stove, You can buy a refill kit and recharge them from your 5 lb. Gas grill bottle, and could carry a spare or 2 safely.
Just need the regulater and carb issues worked out..
Talk about Clean Burning.
I am a retired Ami certified motorcycle mechanic and I'm looking to play around with this as well it's a new one for me and I would love to try it if you have more I would love to hear it

These are discontinued but I know some gopeds had this engine. Maybe you could adapt one of these carbs to a different motor.

Found out they made other carbs for bigger engines. I found one for a 2.5 hp engine.

Carburetor for LEHR 4 stroke 2.5HP propane outboard PN OB072.1-045 | eBay

I've seen gas powered floor polishers with 5 HP that run on propane. A conversion must be out there.

I know for a fact that they sell carburetors for the 212 to run propane. Not sure about the smaller ones

Try businesses that repair fork lifts, they may be able to help you out. I know a lot of lifts run on propane.
