Heavy duty Husky front wheel with Sturmey Archer drum brake

Any one have one of these. How are they ? I want to get one for my schwinn style springer fork but not if the're garbage. I'm going to pair it with a workman rear with shimano hub.. I've heard bad things about the worksman brake drum and good things about the sturmey archer drum brake

I haven't heard anything bad about Worksman drum brakes. I had one on my motorbike.
Its not as strong as a disk brake, but I like them much better than rim brakes.
I also had a Chinese Arai drum brake on one of my cruisers. It worked well too.
The best drum I have used is probably the Shimano Nexus roller brake.

I ended up buying this wheel instead of the worksman mainly because it was slightly cheaper (and the xl-fd drum brake hub seems popular from online reviews) and had free shipping if I spent 150 so I added a handlebar, layback seatpost, and heavy duty tube tube to my cart (stuff I needed anyway). It came out to 151.14 for the 4 items shipped to my door... instead of 125 + 35 shipping for just the wheel from worksman. I'll let you the quality of this husky brand wheel since I wasn't able to find many reviews myself.
