Hi, I built a cool bike about 10 years ago with a sick bike parts shift kit and rode it around about a year and then sold it. I recently moved to an area that is ideal for such a bike and found that sick bike parts is non existent. I see they sale these cheap kits on amazon but see no options for a heavy duty kit.
What are you guys using for extreme duty kits for the the bearing i believe that was the difference? I am a big guy, think the late Andre the giant big. The old kit i got from SBP easily handled my 400lbs weight even riding up steep levee's. Is there anything comparable these days?

I think @Pablo (Sick Bike Parts) can still hook you up with the White Industries bearing he used. GRU🐝BEE also sells a shift kit. Gru🐝Bee currently has a 4 stroke shift kit and will soon be coming out with a 2 stroke shift kit.

I have the strongest shift kit (Staton Inc) in known existence being driven off of a Staton 18.75\1 gearbox. My shift kit is a triple chain ring with double Trails White Industries freewheel. Unfortunately you can't buy one like mine any more either.

I have a Giant Stiletto shift kit from Staton-Inc. I’m pretty sure David Staton still has all the parts in stock, or can make them. I believe this is the best shift kit ever made. The engine is in-frame and that bicycle is bad to the bone, very stable at 40mph, a much better bicycle than any StingRay. However, the Giant Stiletto is hard to find.

Post a picture of what you have. I've never heard of a giant stiletto 👠 shift kit
That David made.

Ok, I'm a little more awake now I'm assuming you're talking about a Giant Stiletto bicycle with a Staton Inc shift kit on it. David quit making shift kits years ago. Unfortunately, he has only the 44t sprockets for the engine drive in stock.

Damien 1307 kindly explained how I can post pictures, I tried it and I still don’t know how. The Giant Stiletto has a jackshaft built into the frame from the factory. Staton-Inc made some 5/8 inch adapters for the jackshaft to align perfectly with the engine on the left side of the frame. The right side of the jackshaft has a freewheel for the pedal chainring and a drive sprocket going to the rear freewheel. I recall about 10 years ago or more I asked David for some extra engine mounts for the bicycle. He said that he was going to make several extra to keep in stock for the future and he would ship a couple of the mounts to me when he was done. I believe he still has some mounts in stock.

There should be a button on the bottom left of the reply box that says "attach files."

So what kind of bike do you plan to use and what kind of engine are you going to use?

Any specific parts you want, or are you just looking for the whole Kit? I have some extra SBP shift kit parts that I bought when they announced they were closing and I am more and more sure I probably won't be using them.
