Just wanted to introduce myself before starting to post questions...
I'm from Indiana, I've had a few 49cc Chinese scooters in the past, and have now come upon my first motorized bike.
Very excited about delving into the world of motorized biking.
Have future plans to build atleast 2 custom bikes for myself, and also have a few friends who want me to help them with their own builds.
Glad I found a site with knowledgeable people who share this same interest.
Hoping to learn a lot, and one day contribute some myself...

Welcome to the forum. To me, the ability to cheaply and quickly "make over" your motor bike is the biggest appeal. You don't have to be a machinist or welder to make parts out of common items (but the welders and machinists on this site do amazing things).
