What part of New Mexico are you from? I'm in Cruces. I went from my 21 speed to a single speed, it seems like a great idea but really it isn't. Getting the chain tension perfect on both sides of the wheel sucks.

Welcome to the site. You can shim the engine to get the chains close to equal.

I hadn't thought of that. I had to get a set of half links to make it work.
