I'm a bicycle commuter and tourist who happens to own and ride a motorcycle for the longer distances. The motorcycle actually gets (only) about twice the gas mileage of most large cars so is not really very efficient. Clearly, the time for a motorized bicycle has come. I'm an engineer and look forward to a new project. I'm leaning toward a 50 cc Honda 4 stroke engine and Grubee gear reduction unit. I also have some interest in attempting a multispeed conversion. Suggestions?
