Welcome to the forum. Have you bought the Felt yet?
If not, it's much easier to install the typical motor kit on a steel framed beach cruiser.
You can always move your motor kit to a Felt after the motor is broken in and you have the bugs worked out.
That being said, Felts make a dreamy motorized bikes.

Yeah I have the EL GUAPO and the frame is steel not aluminium. Ive been working with justin from pirate to use a mod motor/Jims mounts and sproket hub system.Im also designing a spun aluminium fuel cell. I still havent come across a decent light.Shootin for a motorcycle light just not sure what battery to power it.I would guess it would need to be pretty small.
