I think Christy is from Ireland, which I assume has similar laws to the UK on motorized bicycles. I'm also going to assume it's much more restrictive on their operation on vehicle roadways. Best to ask inmate Furry-on-the-Inside, there's some specifics about maximum speed and power/diplacement

If you can't get away with petrol, the electric bike i have and the others i have rode work great and are actually almost a different pleasure to ride because of how smooth and quiet they are.

I wouldn't know. Ireland is a completely different country from the UK.
The last activity from our one Irish member was a year ago, and if I heard why I don't recall.
In UK it's electric only on the roads.

Most of the stuff written on the forums are interpreted by individuals that have a vested interest in the MB being legal. As squirrelly as laws are written, they can be interpreted in may ways. My 2 cents, in most states you are semi safe with less than 50cc, but not really legal. But that can be changed anytime your state legislature is in session.

People riding irresponsibly, not obeying the laws of the road, and just being a jerk will be the nails that close the door to MB's being on the street.
