Most of the stuff written on the forums are interpreted by individuals that have a vested interest in the MB being legal. As squirrelly as laws are written, they can be interpreted in may ways. My 2 cents, in most states you are semi safe with less than 50cc, but not really legal. But that can be changed anytime your state legislature is in session. People riding irresponsibly, not obeying the laws of the road, and just being a jerk will be the nails that close the door to MB's being on the street.
