Building my first moto bike and hoping it could take over my car as a daily commuter, 20 mile drive to downtown ( is that too much for these bikes?)
I'm almost done with it, but then I will need to break it in..

Welcome to the forum. I do not think that 20 miles is too much for the bike but you may want to take a break after about 10 unless you have a real cushy seat. Good idea to have some basic onboard tools and a couple parts in case something flies off! Usually you find the bugs during break-in. If it gets really hot where you live you may want to check out some of the posts about Castor Oil that is commonly used for RC aircraft. My seat is WAY too hard to ride 40 miles per day, so I just putt around town till my keester gets sore. Good luck to you!!

Hello and welcome to MBc! No, I ride mine that much if not more..but when you first break it in which about 500 miles mix oil 20-1 and don't wrap it out..i did not go over 20 my 1st 500.00 miles..find all posts by thats dax and it will tell you in there...good luck and happy motoring!

Hi gno. Welcome to MBc!
Tons of info here on your style bike. Its a great start. After gaining experience of moteredbikes move up to http://www.bikeengines.com/ for most reliable. (My opinion only. I drive both.) Enjoy

If you search and are unable to find your answers, don't hesitate to post your question. Someone will steer you to a link, or reply to your question. Were here for each other! Enjoy! :D
You may have seen this, but here's a great MBc starter "link" to get you motoring.
