My name is John and I live in central CA. I have a 1999 Whizzer with 45 miles on it. It was given to my wife 11 years ago by my brother in law when it only had 38 miles. We rode it a few times but then put it in a shed until this summer when I brought it to my home in Clovis, CA. I haven't tried to start it or even put air in the tires. I'm trying to free up some space in my garage, so it's for sale. I'm getting ready to have my third back surgery soon so I can't work on it. Anyone interested in this?
The main thing I'm wondering about is, should I spend the money to get it in riding shape or sell as is? Everything is there including the battery charger with original instructions and box, plus both keys.
What steps should I take to try to get it running? I doubt that the battery will work after nearly 20 years. I have the original charger on it but it never switched to yellow from the green. I'm leaning it on overnight. Will it start without a working battery? Who should I take it to to get it running if it's beyond my skill set? Thanks in advance for any help! John
