Help adjusting /setting up 16 mm Keihin Carburetor Clone

Are you saying the piston won't go up and down in the bore or it won't fire up?

it won't fire up. Update , I turned both screws all the way in and then back out 1 and 1/2 turns. Cleaned the carb. and it fired up but I had to peddle very fast for it to do so. And now if I do not turn the gas off when the engine is running fuel comes out of the overflow hose. I feel like I can't win this one.

If gas is coming out of the overflow, then the float needle is stuck open. Just the tiniest piece of grit will do that, did you have the float bowl off for cleaning?

Don't say that, there so much contaminants in the fuel these days it's a wonder that any of the carburated cars or bike even run at all
