Help me with my fat bike project...

Ok team gotta new question for ya. I got the bike situated with the whole offset ordeal, and I did ...yes ..do have a #40 chainsize on it and it is rolling around semi good with little scrubbing but what # am I supposed to use just for clarification.? And the next question is when I get a wheel hub adapter what am I sanding down the flat of the clamp where it connects or theinside where it rests on the hub axel area? Or both. Cause I just had the one I put on there slip and turn and almost made it so I would have to buy a new rim. So I am now having to cut off the one thays there now cause I locktite it together extremely too well and can't get it to come apart. But am gonna put a new one on and want the beat luck I can have with it. So if ya could help me out I'd appreciate it all the more guys.

415 is the 'correct' size, but really whatever works for you is good.

You'll want to sand the flat portion of the clamp where it joins together a decent amoun, and lightly sand the inside where it contacts the hub, and sand the hub. This will make it so the halves clamp tighter together, and so the loctite grabs the hub and adapter better

Yeah I ordered a 415 chain and a new hub adapter I got a 1.25" adapter. I'm hoping it works cause the 1 to 1.5 in is too big and too small so I'm assuming it will be just right as the 3 bears would say. I'm guessing i could have measured the wheel hub but it was cold out so I didn't bother. If I gotta send it back I will. And I got some kind of goo in a tube that does something for spherical components. It's supposed to keep them from slipping or something of the sort.
