Help need pk80/ld80 advice

There is a reason that those kits come with 44t sprockets!
Lol I have like 6 44ts and 3 40ts 2 36s and all I run is 32t and 36 on my winter. Other day I tried a 44t for my first time and I was shocked that ppl used those. I started on a 32t. After using a 44t my whole view on the hobby changed lol. I honestly don't even really like the 36t. I believe 32t to be perfect. I get up huge hills on my 32ts and never pedal. If it can't pull up a hill, a 32t it's not worth a damn.

This is why I come to this forum! Update I got myself banned from the smoliks for making fun of someone who was short with bcuz they couldn't figure a damn bofeng.

I only pick on those I like and love...lol...lol...lol.

And boy, have you guys been cursed and royally screwed...lol...lol...lol.

I use a 32t. I'm seriously considering a 28t. I wanna get as many rpm's as I can before trying that though.

Iget why you would but I did and it's just too much tuning and work on a 28t. Tuning needs to be PERFECT and if you have the power for a 28t then your clutch likely won't. This is one I'm glad to spoil for ya I've done almost 70mph on a 32t and never usually over 50mph for a reason. 32t is perfect can't wait to hear u comment when 28 disappoints you like me lol. 32t is magic my boy lol

Sounds like I'm sticking with the 32t! Now just to hit 70...😆

The PK80 is a great platform for what it is, but you are so used to Phantom type power and torque at low RPM that a regular PK80 engine just feels gutless.

Honestly, I kind of wish/hope for somebody to make a Phantom style saw-hybrid, but based on a 49cc saw jug. It would be nice to have a 3-4hp engine with the same kind of torque curve like the Phantom or Avenger.

Aiming for 50cc the ms170 has a 37mm bore, assuming we retain a 40mm stroke. But as far as I under stand it a saw hybrid retains the original stroke. Making the actual 50cc choice the ms270.

I don't know how much trouble it causes when you have a spacer to take up the difference; you don't get that extra stroke but you retain the reciprocating mass, worsening vibration.
