Even that would require some work to extend life a bit to the bottom end and top end. (Upgraded crank and clutch bearings, upgraded upper rod bearing, using a seal retainer if not already used)
In reality mods if chosen properly can help extend life as the motor becomes more efficient not having to work as hard to do it's job...you don't really have to give it full throttle to gain benefits.
Leaving it completely stock is a crap shoot as all of the motors are and that's fine if that's all you feel is needed for yourself.
I can't personally leave anything stock..lol
