Help! Porting stuff

Just trenched my first intake now hard start, seems super rich and 4 strokes upper throttle high rpm.
I would assume it might be one of two things maybe? How big did you make the trench? If it's too big it might reduce the velocity of the fuel/air mix. Or it could because the engine is intaking even more fuel now since the piston doesn't block off the intake anymore. Maybe try re-jetting?

Also do you have both a trenched port AND a windowed piston? I'm not sure but I don't think both would work at the same time.

Looked online and someone had a similar problem:

Nothing? Insult me atleast. I'm confused here.
OK...lol.
You might be able to use it as paper weight or a doorstop I guess...I doubt it will ever be a working cylinder if you trenched too deep.

Got any pictures to show everybody for some better opinions and options???

I started with just the trench. on the 1 change at a time line of thinking

I'm gonna tear down and decide but I may just go bananas while I'm in there in bring the squish to .7 and window if advised. Yeah maybe she's a bit lean.
