I'm working on my first build and i'm about to take the whole bike apart and derust and paint it as well as make alot of modifications. its gonna be fun and its gonna take alot of my paychecks. i've got a few questions as well so i hope everybodys ready.

One tip i have , is to use a marine grade grease when servicing.

Another tip, since you mention rust, is to remember to treat the inside of the frame tubes. There are some commercial anti-corrosion agents available but they are a bit pricey so I just concoct my own.

someone told me ospho is the stuff to use to remove rust. i got some rustoleum clear coat paint i guess it is. i was going to spray that over it after i derusted with ospho.
