Hi all,

I presently have a 70cc two-stroke bolted to a Gary Fischer Aquila.

If it were more reliable, I'd ride it to work every day. I'm thinking about selling my truck, if I can build a reliable motorized bike, and living off the money for a time, to concentrate on my first love: photography.

Reliability and speed are the two most important factors to me. I welcome input!

Thanks guys!

Alaskavan, what powerplant do you recommend coupling with the Staton chain for power/headache free reliability?

Why is the Staton chain better than some of the other chain drives out there?

BTW, until last night, I ran the biggest kings 2-stroke motor on a 44T. I got radared on a VERY SLIGHT downhill at 37mph. The chain it came with is really heavy duty, yet it seems to have continually (slowly) stretched since I got it. (But that may be the engine sliding slightly on the tubes, Idunno.) Well, anyway, last night the engine mount sheered the vertical tube of my bike frame in half!

Your thread about fast/reliable motors would be the place for technical questions. I'll answer you there.
