I have always used High performance CDI and Coil.
Much better than stock.

How to install

The stock CDI is smaller and fits under the gas tank.
This HP Racing CDI is bigger so I mounted it where the AC-DC Relay is.
I tapped the AC-DC Relay to the HP CDI then used some zipties with a rubber cushion to mount it all to the frame

The CDI plug wires in the harness isn't gonna reach, so you gotta un tape the harness and reroute the CDI plug wires to the new CDI location

You can see where I wrapped the tape around the CDI and secured the zipties there.
But you might want to mount the CDI differently
