Hi, all
After reading this forum for a few weeks, I decided to build my own motorized bike. You can read the details at my blog:

http://steverg.blogspot.com/

Here's some pictures, too.
In sum, it's a blast and performs far better than I anticipated. :D I'm amazed.

Hi, Ross
LOL!!! Yes, the original throttle location was obscene.
I moved it after the pix were taken.
Now, it's on the handle bars where God intended...
I LMAO when I saw the video my son took of me riding around holding my "Johnson" go-stick, too!

Thanks!

Hi,
FWIW, I took pictures today of the bike. These show the new throttle location, a very cool mirror I found at Joes for $15 and the new, but not obvious, motor mount.

Thanks for looking!

Hi, astring
Thanks! The peg is a BMX foot peg and just happened to have the correct threads!
Can you believe it?
What luck.
So far, the peg has been excellent and no trouble. I just used some blue lock tite and tightened 'er down good.

Thanks again!
