Honda 50cc NEED HELP!

My honda was working great all day and then it started more and more cutting off. Now I get it to start for like 3 seconds and then it shuts off. It doesnt sound like a fuel problem and all electrical is hooked up correctly. Any suggestions?

if it runs at all, you have spark. i would look at fuel.

Low oil pressure/level sensor?

The other area to check would be the oil level, if you used the low oil sensor that came with your honda motor. If you have this unit wired in it would do exactly what you describe, allow the engine to start but shut it off when it doesen't come up to pressure.

You'll know if its the oil switch by disconnecting the yellow wire near the kill switch that is attached to the motor...or you check the oil level.

I had to disconnect the oil switch because I hit too many bumps that are big enough to trigger it...that was on day 1. Hasn't died on me since.
