honda gx35 no spark

Hi,
My Stanton f/d has performed flawlessly for years but after a 2 month lay off I don't seem to be getting any spark. The easiest answer lies with the on-off switch. It seems to have only one wire leading to it (does it ground out the spark to the frame?) and I don't know how to determine if it is working properly. Please, any of your insights will help. Hi, Darwin. I just figured out what you meant; the kill switch must ground the circuit to the handle bars, so if I unplug and it still doesn't spark then it must be something else. I'll give it a try. Thank you, Tom.
