How do I get a stuck bolt holding a tire to the frame off?

I was able to get it off before to mount the spur gear but now I simply cannot get this thing off. Its a 15 mm nut that holds the rear tire in place. I have tried wrenches and ratches to no avail. Any help is deeply appreciated.

use a breaker bar - Maybe it's F up and you'll need a new axle

Spray it with PB Blaster and let it sit for a couple minutes then a sharp thwack with a rubber mallet on the end of the wrench.

Make certain you're using a six point socket and turning your ratchet counterclockwise when facing the ratchet. Be in a position that allows you to push down on the ratchet handle making use of your body weight. If necessary use a breaker bar or a cheater pipe on the ratchet handle.
