how do you know the proper position to set c-clip

Is there a guild to knowing the right c-clip position on the carburetor for the right sea-level in your area? Thanks!

There is no written answer, if your engine is four stroking (too much fuel) then move the clip up, if it feels like it's not getting enough fuel, move the clip down.

I have mine on the second one from the bottom, but im double your height

Move the clip up on the needle and that makes the fuel leaner.
Move the clip down on the needle and that makes the fuel richer.

Really no point in messing with it until your carb is jetted right, how does it run full throttle?
