How do you remove the master link??

Im confused I think I screwed up my chain, and at the end I noticed a master link. How can I remove it?

Either use a small, flat screwdriver to slide the clip off from the open end (press, do not pry), or a pick to pull it off from the closed end.

Once the clip is off, the plate will come off and the link will slide out.
