did you make a new thread?that was confusing, lol.

anyways,im thinking of getting a you have one?that would be a lot cheaper.

if im not miss calculating,it would take almost $300 on a motorcycle that gets 50mpg.

In Southern California gas prices that's about $1100.00, regular 87 octane.

I'm driving to Oregon from Shreveport the end of this month with a friend. My car gets 30 mpg, and I'm budgeting $300 each way for gasoline costs for the trip. Seattle would add $30 to that.

Actualy, since you are traveling south on half of the journey, you should take gravity into account and figure less gas going south, right...and slightly more going north due to the down-pull of gravity. But I guess those would just about average out, tho, huh? <giggle>

Also be advised that gas in the Washington state area is considerably higher then the rest of the country. Even more then California. Right now it's about 3.29 for 87 octane in the Ocean Park area.

Now that your trip is over, what did the total fuel cost come to.

$596.18, for a total mileage of 5,267 miles. 8.83 cents/mile in fuel costs. Fuel consumption was 182.16 gallons, for an overall mileage average of 28.9 mpg.
