Hello,
I just finished rebuilding a motorbike and this one has a bit more play in the chain than I'm used to. I have a top and bottom chain tensioner system set up that works very well in keeping the chain tight:

Bottom tensioner pushes up with the help of 2 springs, top has two springs as well, but pushes down (old photo, only difference is I added the second spring to the top tensioner)
I rode the bike for a short 1/2 mile to break it in and once I got back to my garage the chain had stretched to about 3/4" of play. A good 1/2" more play than I've heard is safe. Just wondering if you guys think this system will work, of if I should shorten the chain by a half link. Personally I think a half link would be wise, but if anyone else has other ideas I would certainly be open to trying them. Thanks!!
