Hi there. I hooked up my fuel line to the fuel tank, to the filter, and to the carburetor. Only problem is it leaks. There's no hole in it. The problem is the seal around the ends of the tube. It's not water tight and gas leaks through them. I literally just pushed the tube down on the filter ends, on the petcock, and on the carburetor fuel entrance. It was tight but not tight enough. What can I do to make it water tight? I was thinking some silicone caulk? Or is there some kind of thing I can wrap around the seal to make it really tight? Please let me know.

Another thing about the fuel line they send with the kit is, that it's prone to getting hard and cracking. The best fuel line is 6mm (roughly "3/16..) OD Tygon fuel line sold at a small engine repair shops. It will outlast your engine.

The stock PVC hose is not right at all. It isn't UV or fuel resistant enough. I am using soft, black, silicone hose, 5mm ID 8mm OD with spring fuel line clips.
Black cable ties are good too. I would not use white or any colour nylon.
