I'm from Northeast Arkansas. I got interested in motorized bikes because I need ground transportation when I fly a light plane to distant airports. It would also be handy when I need to drop off the car at the repair shop.
So I need something small that will fit in another vehicle, but allow me to travel two to thirty miles in a reasonable time.
I have three 6-speed folding bicycles with 20" wheels. I put a Live Fast Motors rear-mount 40cc 2-cycle chain-drive kit on one of them. Amazingly, it works!
However, it's not ideally suited to my mission. It still folds, but it's heavier, bulkier, has oily chains on both sides, and I'm concerned about spilling fuel in the other vehicle. I'm hoping to come up with something better.
