HT kit prices coming down?

I had a Strong feeling the Ht kit prices Would come down.

Lets hope it stays that way.

He's (favourite neighbor on eBay) listed some kits for $99 + 49.95 shipping. My guess is that the prices will drop even lower as we head into fall/winter.

Question for all the HT experts out there:

Are all of the HT engines the same, regardless of supplier? It seems that "service after the sale" is the main difference between the HT engines, and not necessarily the engines themselves. I am probably going to order one this weekend to tinker around with.

Also, which engines are more reliable, the 48cc (49,50) or the 65cc (66,70) engines?

I usually don't mess with brand new equipment, but I may tear down the new engine and "clean up" the castings and loctite the head studs and other hardware. You guys have gotten me paranoid about running one straight out of the box!

My Kit prices are
for standard 50cc 0r the so called 80cc $180 .
And the Limited 50cc 0r the so called 80cc $190

And it looks Like that will be the price for a bit.

I have plenty of motors In stock and do this as a hobby and not a living ,
Holding them until Next year wont be a problem.

Spring time you just can keep them in stock.
Many that Buy from me Are repeat People .
And ones that Can't wait 2 weeks for a kit to ship ,
They what it shipped out yesterday.Or are indaviduale that Like to have a phone number to call for Help on first time Builds and what not.
