Huasheng 142F gt2 bike has no spark

so ive been riding my gt2 Huasheng 142F 4gt bike for about a week and all of a sudden it started losing power and then just stalled out. i built this bike about a year and a half ago and rode it for for a month and its sat ever since till about a week ago. so i took out the plug and put it on the head and no spark held it in hand and cranked it and nothing. im thinking its the coil but is there anything else that could cause this?

Did you try a new plug?

Check that the plug wire is connected and looks OK?

Be sure to check "kill" button as it can short and stop the ignition.

Easiest way is to disconnect the wire from the "kill" button where it connects to the motor [near coil].

You can use an Autolite #4194 spark plug if your plug is defective.
