I am a newbie

Hi everyone I am researching because I wish to build a motorized bike. I have been unable to walk for 6 years until my last operation now I can walk but am not allowed to drive. I want to get out and go, soooo I am going to build and ride. Everything I have read to date has helped a great deal. Thanks!

Good for you. These machines are very useful in many situations. They just require a little tinkering to install them and keep them running reliably. Welcome to the forum.

So you've lost the use of your legs from ailment or injury and are now gaining them back?

That's great and we're glad you're looking this way for fun. These bikes don't require particulary strong legs, I think. But I think they need to be tough. Vibration and road shock, for instance.

If they can handle just a bit of abuse, then you ought to have a blast!
