I bought this as a project but I know nothing about these

He probably paid some guy to dig it out of the dumpster.
It's funny but I probably (now after building my last kit) have enough parts to make that run if the inside of the cylinder isn't too gone, and even I would probably just wait a month until I could afford a new kit and go that way instead. The remnants of the old motor probably hold more value as spare parts than rebuilding it.

Powder Baby Blue
Looks like one of those Memorial Bikes (ghost bike) that ya see along the side of the road where someone got killed on a bicycle
I wonder if Red noticed alot of flowers around the bike when he bought it

Traditionally ghost bikes are painted all white

That's no Aluminum frame. It looks exactly like a BCA/Huffy/RodetohellMaster. The bike has no brakes, where is the engine's head, and when was the last time the chain had any oil?
Used bicycles can be found in yard sales, flea markets, pawn shops, Craigslist, etc very cheap. Bike was more than likely stolen. Which is why it was spray can painted.
I hope the new poster didn't spend any money on this bike. In Eugene it would have been abandoned in an alleyway in the industrial West part of Danebo.

You obviously know your "paradise" ghetto alleyways of Eugene, Oregon...lol...lol...lol.

Have you really ever lived there? More than 18 years back from 1981 through 2000 And there was no ghetto, not like Damien imagines.
I knew it back in the 70's during my travels and excursions during my college days out of California.
I saw alot of what would qualify in my mind as ghetto even back then.
