I finally did a 4-stroke 142F kit a while ago, and it's my favorite of the bike kits. The TWEAKER in me wants to fix the sub-par carburation on it- not larger, just a better fueler, but other than that, I think the 4-stroke kits work well. Maybe a cooler-looking exhaust set up. Just Tweaks though.
That is the engine I have for this bike. I will be starting a thread soon on the build. My little apprentice will be coming over today to see her engine and discuss the details. Then I will begin purchasing all the paint, and customizations she is going to want.
First we will be looking for safety gear for her. No way am I going to let her weld and work like me. lol. Her parents would kill me if she had burns all over her hands and arms. Seeing as they are my bosses, I'd probably get fired too, lol. The slag and sparks just bounce off of me, I also bath in 150 degree water for an hour or two a day, she is not that tough, yet. The hardest part is, she is so TINY!! I can lift her with one arm.
The thread will be a long one, she will be learning all the tools I have as she goes. She's already asked if she can bring her " friend" ( I'm guessing the guy she likes) over when she learns to weld, to show him she can do it and he can't. lol. This little gal is going to be a heart breaking tom boy. I can already see all the guys she makes cry in the future. lol.
Stay tuned for the thread, it is coming soon.
