Well, I just finished mounting a new 79cc HF engine on my bike. I bought a new engine back in May of 2016. I was constantly having carburetor issues, so I finally called Support and got a replacement engine. So now I am getting a chance to reexamine all of my mountings, connections and so forth. Plus, as a bonus, I get a brand new motor!

But now I need to buy another year's worth of warranty for the new engine ($20).

Although now I will be on the lookout for a very good carburetor at a very, very good price. I had no other issues with the engine itself.

I also ordered a
Oregon 35-005 Muffler from Amazon. I am hoping it is not too restrictive while at the same time lower the "noise".
Probably won't be too restrictive most aren't on a 4 stroke, a bit of back pressure helps low end torque, less restricted will make more top end power. The 79 is probably going to give you good power across the board for what it is.

How big is that triangle? Wondering what I can do with one of these 79cc 4 strokes still..

Triangle is tiny. I am wanting a larger frame. The aluminum engine mount is going to have to hold it together until that time. We are not racing here.

The bike seems to run well, although I think it would like a larger main jet.

New stickers came in today!

What a difference! More low-end torque. Higher top speed. Yup. The stock carb is not designed for shake rattle and roll. This new one seems to take it all in stride. I just need to dial in the perfect idle speed. But so far I am happy with the carb and intake aI got from AGK.
