I have fuel leaking out of the air filter

I have a Lifan 79.4cc 4 stroke engine. I have fuel leaking out of the air filter. Any recommendations on how I should fix this issue please? Thank you.
Maybe the float's stuck, try tapping the carb with a screwdriver handle

If that don't work. take the carb off the engine, take the float bowl off, clean the float needle valve and seat with carb cleaner
Probably a piece of dirt is holding the float needle valve open

While ya got the carb off clean it well and look for any other issues

Is the engine running at all? Start with the simplest thing first. Inspect the fuel line going into the carburetor.

I only do 2 strokes myself, but I will ask the questions that should be asked before going any further for the 4 strokers here in the forum to be able to help with good answers.

Is this motor brand new or used???

Did you build the bike or did you buy it already built???

If it is an older vehicle and not new was it stored for any length of time with gasoline left in it???

Are you using ethanol or ethanol free gasoline???

Is it the stock/original carburetor and air filter on it???

Has this motor or exhaust been modified from stock in any way???
