Sounds like a air leak or your way to lean on your needle settings. Where is your c-clip at on your carb needle?

In other words, is it a Zeda 80 66cc, is it an ebay bargain motor etc. etc....Some of these motors from ebay and others have been known to be problematic, its nice to know what we are dealing with when giving help so we know what to eliminate as a possible issue.

You do realise that .4mm is only 0.0157 thousandths of an inch, Right???

Your gap is supposed to be .025 thousandths which is 0.635 mm.

0.65 mm will be close enough to get .025 thousands of an inch.

Why are you using a metric gap guage?
