I just hit the 500 mile mark, what oil

I had to take a picture just as it turned over 500 miles.

What Syn. oil should I use now?

Well friend, you are on your own here, I always use straight 40 organic, and would use old-fashioned 50 wt racing oil if I had any left.

Hi peter nap If your going to use syn.oil go on line to redline oils site and get ther crossover for 40wt air cooled oil.. have fun ....Bill Green

Hmmmm...I thought everyone was using Synthetic after break in. One of these days I'll quit listening to Dave.

I use Shell 40Wt. I tried Mobil One [synthetic] for a while, but the net result was less money in my pocket. I ran the same motor on the dyno with straight 40 Wt in the morning and Mobil One [synthetic]in the afternoon and the top speed was the same.

Ive been running Shell 40 wt in it. If there's no benefit, I might as well keep on using it.
