Change the Oil. Adjust the valves per the motor manual.. That ought to outlast the bike it's on.

I have the same kit with a mitsubishi TLE43 on it.

When you hit a puddle, don't push it. Let the tire get dry first. If it's going to be raining, make sure the friction roller is pressed into the tire a little more.

thanks, it works great but I lost the gas cap when fueling up. I will go to the lawn mower repair place to buy one tomorrow.

It works great, these friction drives are good for phx (no rain or hills). I am still waiting on a gebe kit that i ordered weeks ago, when (and if) it arrives I will have a good comparison.

I changed from a RS friction drive to the gebe system. There is no comparison in my mind. Don't worry, the gebe folks are catching up. Your kit will arrive.
