I Need help.. Lol.. With my phantom 85...

That sure sounds like an electrical issue, does any of the wires have cracks or poor connections?

Sparkplug boot?
No they are all new. I have sparkthr bowl float is empty the timing has been done. Its a new bottom end and magneto also cdi and to add to it a new muffler now as well. I can't figure out for the life of me why won't start

You know what? ¿That just gave me an idea.. There is one thing i changed i think and it was the wires. I put a push in single connector on it so it could be plug and play.. I wonder if thats what it is.

Okim back with the results.. It was another motor i did that toso back to square one. And i havw a queation.. I noticed the spark plug was a bit hard to get in and saw that the threads were cross threaded but it does go all the way in with a tight could this be the problem even though it seems seated on ok"

It's definitely A problem. You can potentially lose a little compression if that plug doesn't thread and seal properly.

Threads are gonna eventually pull out and as the threads get weaker and weaker it's gonna leak more and more until the S/P just pops out or the threads pull out when ya remove the S/P one day

Might as well order another head or repair the head ya got with a Helicoil

If you find any fasteners that are hard to get started or becoming harder to get started, stop! 🛑 This includes spark plugs, there is something wrong with the threads and it has to be corrected before you can continue. But, if you have no regards for the longevity of your engine, please ignore my caution.
