Here is a list of places where you can take bicycle frame building classes. Expect to pay $2000 to $3000 for the class plus travel and lodging expenses. The classes fill up fast, so schedule early fr the best time for you. From what little I read, you will get to come home with a completed frame. So I would expect $5000 for an American made frame as a reasonable expectation. .

If I was 50 plus years younger I would spend my money on a more practical course. This is like taking basket weaving to a new level.

I took the UBI advanced bike mechanic course back in 1997 because they were doing a thorough cover of all the new suspension technology and full suspension bikes. I was already a professional mechanic with 20 years experience, it was a good refresher course.
