Engine Trouble idle problem

ok i've dont alot of searching but can't find anything related to my cns v3 carb that came stock on my 2011 skyhawk gt5. i have the idle screw in all the way and it still won't idle... the slide is about 40% open in this position. it also seems like its not reaching max revs while riding. The only thing that is adjustable on my carb is the idle screw, and like it said even with that screwed in all the way it still won't idle correctly. I think i read somewhere on pirate cycles website that the skyhawk carb shoots way to much gas into the engine, so for now i ordered the stock nt carb and im waiting for that to arrive. In the mean time, does anyone have any suggestions?

The Skyhawk carb is garbage. I replaced mine with an NT carb and I'm very happy. Idles perfectly, nice acceleration and more top speed.

Did you check your slider to see if it's moving freely?

yeah its moving freely. i replaced the cns with a standard nt carb and now it idles fine.
