idling high,

Hi, took her for the first ride today! shes sweeeeet!!
but when i pull the clutch she idles really high? any ideas? ive screwed everything to the lowest and it worked a bit but still not enough.
dont want to be stuck at a traffic light with hert idling like a chainsaw she will melt,

ok, your idle screw is turned down? theres a little adjustment you can do with the cable assy at top of carb. if neither of those is it, it sounds to me like maybe your running to lean. just a guess. run a search for "high idle" using the "seach for all terms" option

solved, Intake manifold nuts were loose, Ooops
tightened them up now sounds like a harley, after 2 months its finally running bit scared to open full throttle tho encase teh chain comes off?
