Well after a year of being unable to ride; I was able to ride the Sidewinder again. There was no lower back pain. However several of my other muscles will have to get back use to riding. Which is why today was a short ride. It felt very liberating to feel the openness of riding the Sidewinder.

I did some upgrades to the Sidewinder. I installed a Timorn tachometer/hour counter. The nice big letters are easy to see.

I also put on new front/rear signal lights. The old ones were 75 lumens and these are a 120 lumens. The really cool thing is they were cheaper than the old set. Of course modifications had to be made to the mounting supports. Sorry, I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to put my trust into a rubber band thingie to keep the lights attached to the bike. So I took out the rotary tool, heat gun, Xacto knife set and JB weld epoxy; then made what I need out of mounting brackets from both kits. Having the right tools along with the knowledge of how to use them opens up a world of possibilities for a builder.

Looks like an airplane cockpit on those bars. Goes against the KISS principle we live by, capiche?

Sorry, that the same basic operating equipment on a moped or motorcycle looks as complicated as a airplane cockpit to you. To most individuals the basic operating equipment on a motorcycle is KISS. That basic operating equipment is also the same reason I'm not afraid to operate my vehicle in traffic.

Be aleart/aware (mirrors)
Be seen (Lane Control, lighting/reflectors)
Be predictable (obey traffic laws)
Communicate (informational lights/horn, acknowledgement)

Do the front and rear turn signals work off one remote and if so where did you get them and are they rechargeable?

Yes, they work off 1 remote. My cellphone camera doesn't do them justice. They're very visible in the daylight.
