Hey guys, what's happenin'??

Im new to these bikes and the forums. A buddy of mine had 2 motorized bikes that were in pretty bad shape. Only one of the motors ran, and barely at that. Both bikes in my opinion were too unsafe to ride without some major maintenance. I offered to help him and build up a new bike and motor kit, then I could focus on the bikes that need work.

After messing with his bikes and seeing how simple these kits were, I was hooked.

He found this bike and a new set of 36 spoke wheels for $100. The bike was about 4 years old but never ridden.

I've read to keep the first build simple so I only did the minimum on the motor. Just cleaned up the mating surfaces of the intake and exhaust.
