In need of parts

Around 2 months ago I bought a 1948 300 Whizzer and it's been running on and off but basically recently i was trying to adjust the carb on it and it had been randomly shutting off and making a pretty bad noise it didn't sound like knocking but more like it was in the rod, so today I investigated further and discoverd the rod bearing, rod, piston and rings all need to be replaced, I could probably get away with the piston. But everything else I mentioned needs to be. Any idea where I might be able to source parts for it?

Back after maybe 8 years or so. I've got a J/300 Whizzer engine that needs work. Took it out for a rip around the San Juan Islands on the warmest day of the year last summer. Rode about 10 miles at 30-40 mph and seized the piston. Would unseize when cooled off, but would seize again after a...
