In trouble now - I found a source of spares.....

I didn't think that there was a source of parts for the wee 'Happy Time' engine here in New Zealand and then I found that a company that I thought only sold e.bike parts has them in stock.

http://www.scooterparts.co.nz/ (Prices are in NZ $ which are worth @ 70 cents US)

I don't especially want to go and play with a 'Happy Time' just yet, but being able to obtain various useful bits instead of making them is going to be handy.

I was going to try and fabricate some of these or go down and see the Milking machine parts supply dealers in the township to see what useful bits they have on the shelves in their shop (advantage of living in a pasture farming dairy farm district). Most things for clamping onto a pipe can be found at a milking machine dealers ;)
You know, it was only a chance link I stumbled across that led me here to this forum. You should put up a health warning: - 'The Surgeon General has determined that frequenting motoredbikes.com will cause your fingers to be perpetually oil stained and grimy......'

"MotoredBikes.com is not responsible for blurry eyesight, twitchy index finger, poor sleeping habits,
irrate spouses, or burnt food. However, if your bike's running ok, we'll totally be responsible if you want."
we did try to warn you...sorta ;)

Well Sionelle, at least you have the option on the table ,so to speak, if and when you decide to go Happy Time.

it's merely a different aspect, and someday the happy-time design will have it's rightful place on the timeline...if you prefer some legacy, ask someone where to get an old russian kit :)
