Hi all, I keep seeing what looks like the same kind of bike, over and over. I decided to submit some of the bikes that I have built to show what can be done. This bike I bought at a bike shop, from that back room, just a frame and fork, then I went back and found the orig rear fender, later I encountered a correct front fender. This is about a 1946-1950 Cleveland Welding Company 24" probably a Roadmaster, due to the hole pattern on the steer tube.

Fancy paint you ask? I bought those rattle cans at wally world, and set about to finish this bike for my wife.
Here is "Diane's Bike" probably about my 15th bike.

Clear overcoat

Hi Sianelle, it just might have helped to clear it up! Oddly, the white is still shiny and nice, but the olive green has gone all frosty like militart camoflage paint. If that were the plan, I would certainly be a sucess now! (grin)

I agree with jezusjonz. No matter what your resources or abilities, these engines offer everyone the thrill and excitement of putting a motorized bike together. At least for me, it brings out the 12 year old kid inside. That feeling as you're creating your own bike is hard to attain anywhere else. I'm sure there are some people that see me on it and think, "What a dork." To each his own. If a 45 year old man on a motorized Schwinn is a dork-then guilty as charged!

Orville and Wilbur are my heroes!

I think thats what makes MBc so cool, you've got a mixture of all kinds from the budget builder to those that can drop 1k or better for a bike,we all like the same thing, puffs of blue smoke and the wind in our face!
